The issue was traced to a fault with one of the redundant power supplies in a core network device. Although the device is designed to operate with dual power inputs for resilience, the failure unexpectedly caused it to stop switching traffic.
All services have been restored. If your equipment has not automatically reconnected, please try power cycling your modem/router or other relevant devices.
